After moving house chaos, I filled up the car and set off for an Alpine winter. It's something I have wanted to do all my life, and now have the chance to spend the next couple of months getting right in the heart of it.
The ice out here is coming into excellent condition, and there has been loads of snow. I'm heading up into the mountains for the next few days to take on some of the classic lines on the flanks of Mnt Blanc. Never been up that way so super keen to see what its all about.
Want to check out "Scotch on the Rocks" and "Pinocchio" both uber classic 5-10 pitch routes up to M7+ (scottish VIII).
