Thursday 24th September 2009If you haven’t seen the news yet, Stevie Haston has just done his first 9A. Awesome, awesome achievement, but what’s even more impressive is that he’s old! 52 years of living, parting, climbing, arguing, training and now a Grandad. What a legend and an inspiration.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE that turns round to you and says that cliché of “yeah, but I‘m too old for that” well read it and weep you lot, the Haston has just set a new standard. And it’s not just climbing either, it’s such a brilliant example of what you can do when you put your mind to it, come on!
Estrid Geertsen (99yrs) is the oldest person ever to jump out of an aeroplane, and she lived!
Go for it and when you can’t … Sleep when you’re dead
