Wednesday 26th May 2010With the weather forecast constantly changing it looks like it could be an exciting voyage, hopefully ending up on St Kilda, in the far reaches of the Atlantic. Dave recently sent me some images of the routes that we will be attempting, they look wicked and all of them are pretty hard, some on excellent rock. Can't wait to get involved.
We're armed with wetsuits and a small dingy to get from the main boat onto the cliffs and judging by the unsettled weather this should be very entertaining.
I broke my leg snowboarding at the end of February and I have been recovering well and heading for Pembroke whenever possible to get some training in.
Here's a shot of the brilliant "Ghost Train" in Stennis Ford. In it's current state with new threads we agreed E6 6a/b and one of the best climbs in Pembroke. It's chalked now, if you fancy a go ;-)
