Monday morning blues...

We won the MountainX!!!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were awesome. Canyoning, via ferratta, rock climbing, white water canoeing and a 46km mountain run in the Chablais Alps from Morzine.

The climbing was on a huge limestone crag above the Col du Colombiere, great views over to Mont Blanc when we got up high.

The canoeing was exciting, we flipped once whilst dropping into a gorge but managed to hold things together, get back in the boat and keep going. I twanged my hip on a rock and have a cracking bruise now.

We were close to our competitors Salomon Crested Butte Ladies all week, it was a great competition. We secured the win beating them on the final run from Morzine on Saturday. It was a tough day, raining for the last hour or so. This was the only rain we had all week so we really couldn't complain.
