Having grown up in the Lake District, George Ullrich (19yrs old) has been climbing for almost ten years. Mainly inspired by trad climbing, this last year has seen him complete several major test-pieces, both at home in the UK and abroad.
His recent escapades include 'Impact Day' (E9/8 6c), 'Dawes rides a Shovelhead' E8 6c and speed climbing the Nose in under 9 hours (El Capitan). On a recent trip to the US, he also made perhaps the first attempt at climbing the infamous 'Bachar-Yerian' in Tuolumne without the use of fixed pro. He has made several notable first ascents at the Buttermilks, Bishop and the Needles, CA.

His first trip to Mallorca last summer sparked his interest for DWS climbing and he hopes to continue it.
George rock climbs for fun.
