The OMM...

It's Friday night. The OMM starts tomorrow. I am at home in the warm looking at the weather forecast.

A combination of injured teammate (hope the knee gets better soon Janet!) and the pressing need to finish my MSc dissertation has meant I am not racing the OMM this weekend.

The dissertation has been looming large for a while. Along with working full time, training, racing and trying to have a bit of a life I have been studying for a masters degree. If I don't get my dissertation in by next Friday this may not happen!!! So I am at home, attached to my PC when I could (should?) be in a field in Borrowdale, listening to the calm before the storm.

Best of luck to everyone racing the OMM tomorrow cos the forecast looks terrible!!!
