| Gavin Symonds has just repeated Ken Palmers F8a 'Christine' at Long Quarry Point, near Anstey's Cove in Devon. Although there may be more impressive feats in the climbing press these days, deep water soloing an F8a is a fine achievement and few people have done it.

| I was interviewed by the Canadian news desk yesterday, after a BASE jumper was rescued off a local cliff. He attempted the jump around 2pm, while people were kitesurfing close to the landing area!
