A softshell jacket from Swedish brand Haglöfs has been named a gold winner at the giant ISPO trade show in Munich.

The Roca II Hood was one of the company’s four award winners at the event, which opened today.

The garment is a light, minimalist but durable soft shell jacket designed, says Haglöfs, for tough days on the mountain so should be of intrest for both training and racing on foot and on MTB.

“The jacket is manufactured with a unique combination of two Gore Windstopper materials, and lined with the highest performance synthetic insulation material on the market, QuadFusion+,” a spokesperson said.

As soon as I can get my grubby mitts on one, I'll put it through its paces and report back to you on here.
