TrailGuru is a comprehensive, easy to use and up-to-date guide to the best mountain bike trails and tracks in Wales. Aimed at updating and informing users as to Wales' trails and facilities, the site also plans to connect the mountain biking community of both Wales and the rest of the UK in sharing their knowledge and experience of this rapidly growing and well loved sport.
TrailGuru's web designing, mountain biking head honcho, Kevin Underhill, explained to planetFear, ‘the core purpose of TrailGuru is to provide comprehensive and up-to-date info on the best places to ride in Wales given the massive uptake and passion for the sport in this country. We hope to provide a great user experience so that mountain bikers will enjoy browsing through the info and will come back to find out about trails they haven't yet ridden'.
The site's guide-like features include: trail descriptions, reviews and comments; an interactive rating system for each trail; information on bike stores, bike hire and repair; recommended places to eat and stay; as well as mtb news, events, images and an already well frequented forum on all things mountain bike.
TrailGuru is already attracting huge interest and interaction both on the site and through its Facebook and Twitter pages and Kevin sees a great future for the TrailGuru team.
