If you fancy a short sharp off-road blast on the 11th November, head for Sherwood Pines and take on the Evil Sheriff Off-Road Duathlon.

The 5 km run - 16 km MTB -  3.6 km run race is on a course that's great for off-road novices but also with enough twist and turns to make it fun and fast for more experienced racers.

Planet Fear's own Nik Cook will be toe-ing the start line and hoping to make amends for last year's race where he sheared off a pedal while leading on the bike.

There are also 10 km and 5 km trail races and a 2 km fun run for kids.
