Friday 27th August 2010Ant Emmet's Team planetFear.com took an early lead in to 1st position last night with the Prologue to the adidas Terrex - the UK round of the Adventure Racing World Series - and this morning saw fine weather for the start across Morecambe Bay of the main event.

Competitors have begun their 4 day race across and through the Lake Di...strict, the route will take in over 400km of terrain where racers will run, from Hest Bank, over to Holker Hall and Transition 1, out to Ravensglass on bikes before heading in to the Lakes 'proper'.

From here the competitors will negotiate some of the Lake District's finest terrain on foot, bike and by kayak, including the Langdale Valley, Wasdale, Coniston, Lake Windermere, through the Eastern reaches of Longsleddale and Haweswater, eventually finishing back in Keswick on Monday.
