Wednesday 24th February 2010

We are delighted to announce that the new planetFear store,  opening this summer will be located in KESWICK in the Lake District. Plans are already underway to create the most exciting retail experience the Lakes has seen for some years for climbers, bikers and racers.

Keep watching the site for exclusive opening offers and events, which will be announced closer to the time.

We are still looking for a number of key individuals to fill the remaining vacancies on the team.

Store Manager

If you are an experienced retail professional with a passion for some or all of the planetFear core sports (climbing, mountain biking and adventure racing), this might be the job for you.

If you expect high standards, and know how to make sure your team delivers them, we would be keen to hear from you.

In return we can offer a job in the Lake District, with a package which will reflect your success.

Bike Mechanic/ Salesperson

We are looking for an experienced, qualified mechanic to service our hire fleet and customer bikes.

The ability to work on the shop side selling bikes and accessories would be a major advantage.

Bike and Run Category Manager

Based in Lancaster, we are still looking for the right person to head up our Bike and Run offering. The ideal candidate would be someone with experience of the buying side of the bike trade, with sufficient written English skills to contribute towards the editorial side of the site. Experience of running/adventure racing would be a distinct advantage.

If you are interested inany of the above positions, please email a C.V. along with a covering letter including salary expectations, to marketing@planetfear.com
