Grivel 360 Degrees Ice Screws

A useful screw to add to your collection as it can be placed anywhere. The handle is moveable, enabling you to wind the screw into ice even in a tight corner. However, after very little use, the handle became extremely stiff, and difficult to use, so needs frequent monitoring and lubrication.

The 360 Degrees was slightly fiddly to place either one handed, or when wearing mittens, so wasn’t a favourite of mine in the cold weather and steep ground in Rukjan, Norway.

The 360 Degrees comes in just three lengths – 120mm (156g), 160mm (179g) and 200mm (203g).
