Inov-8 Flyroc 310

If you walked into the planetFear office right now you’d find I’d be wearing a pair of Flyroc 310’s. “Why?” You may ask…and I would answer that “I fell in love with them!”

The Flyroc 310’s are designed as lightweight trail running shoes that offer a high degree of breathability and performance. In comparison to the Mudroc 290’s they are a higher volume shoe and offer a more relaxed fit. Individuals with particularly narrow or low volume feet may need a volume adjuster. However, the lacing system is excellent and should enable for a firm fit with most foot shapes.

The mesh uppers of the 310’s breathe extremely well and it is this feature that contributes most to the lightweight design and feel of the shoe. It is because these shoes are light and comfortable I’ve found myself wearing them day after day, around the office and down the pub.

Back on the trails, which this what the shoe is actually designed for, I found the 310’s responsive and offering excellent, aggressive grip that few other trail shoes could match. One consideration is that because of the lightweight mesh uppers of the 310’s they are very flexible and won’t offer much support for the injury prone.
