Tuesday 1st March 2011Creag Meagaidh today, Tuesday March 1st.

A team on the Pumpkin, but they backed off after first pitch as debris was falling on them from above and the ice wasn't in that good conditon. There was a team on Diadem, hollow ice and selective axe placement.

Zac and team did Diadem, myself and the team did Glass Slipper. Great condition, ice was ok although a bit hollow in places, cornice was ok. Further right looked a bit more interesting though. Staghorn gully first few pitches are on grass; Easy gull is rammed full of snow and there IS ice on the Post Face routes and it looked fat and blue.

Stunning day up there. The BIG FELLA would have loved it.............

Anyroad up folks take care out there. We are out tomorrow Wednesday to do battle with the winds.
