New climbing routes near The Lemon House, Sardinia

Our friend Jan, a strong Czech climber, over his Christmas holidays bolted 6 new routes, and freed 4 of them, all very near The Lemon House. These routes were in part financed by us. The routes are:

• "Our" cave Grottone Su Telargiu Oro (Co ‘e Serra) Illy 8b (still to RP)
• Triton Wall Monte Scoine Mima 7c, Anicka 7c/7c+ (still to RP)
• Monte Oro (above the parking for Monte Scoine NW face) First Blood 7a, Train Hard 8a, Feel Good 6c/6c+

A big thanks to Jan, Denisa, Tomas, Slavek and their two Yorkshire terriers! You can see topos of the routes here and at The Lemon House we can give you more details of these climbing areas and other new routes there.

Today Peter added a couple of easier routes at Triton Wall, meaning that with 3 4c's and a 5a, this is one crag with quite a few routes of an easier grade. He plans to add a couple more routes there in the near future.

From Triton Wall, and the nearby sector La Balena, both on the SW side of Monte Scoine (strictly speaking the mountain is called Montera Pittaine) you have this beautiful panorama over Lotzorai, with The Lemon House visible if you know where to look, and the Gulf of Arbatax.
