Saturday 9th May 2009Peter has been going bouldering a lot in this period to Serra Oseli, 40 minutes by car from The Lemon House. As well as single pitch routes from 6b+ to 8a, and three great 6a/b multipitch routes, at Serra Oseli there are marvellous limestone boulders with flat landings. They were featured in a recent article in the Italian magazine Pareti, and one of the best problems, Phil's Wall, is shown in this photo in the article.
Peter has a list of the 64 current problems, of which many are awaiting for their first ascent, and is gradually working through them. He very nearly did Phil's wall today, and is going back on Monday to finish it off! Help to climb the problems and assess the grades is most welcome, and there are many more problems to do. Other photos of bouldering at Serra Oseli can be found here.
